About Bloom

We make a difference and grow through connection—with ourselves, neighbors, friends, and our community as a whole.

“We do not need magic to transform the world. We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already.”

Why Bloom

A note from Elizabeth Burdette

Every single one of us has the innate power to create meaningful change in the world. And I believe change is powered by human connection. Simply put, we are wired to live together, not apart. All my life, I’ve watched the women around me create community and welcome neighbors, co-workers, and even strangers into their homes and lives to face life’s challenges together. Likewise, my life changed on a single day when I discovered human generosity as perhaps the most powerful force of all kinds, one that surpasses artificial yet significant societal divides.

When we give to others, we heal ourselves in the process.

Thanks to technology, we have never been more accessible. But access does not equal connection. My goal is to make truly impactful generosity attainable despite the world’s distractions. To give women the time, tools, and space to create real change in our community and form deep, lasting, and diverse relationships. To create joy, one life at a time. To change the perception of what is possible by leveraging our collective financial resources for limitless impact. And in the process, we transform countless lives, including our own.

A little about me...

Although my roots are in Texas, I’ve called Atlanta home for most of my life. This is where I met my husband Britton on a blind date and fell in love instantly. Together we are raising three amazing and wild young children, Ada, Draper and Ozzy (and Weezie, our Boxer)

I’ve been told that my superpower is connecting people – to one another and to undiscovered opportunities. I’ve also been blessed beyond my wildest imagination with a beautiful family, incredible friends, and a career I love. That’s why I’ve been inspired to give back in whatever small ways I can and use that superpower for good. I’m passionate about the innate potential of human connection and generosity – and what can Bloom at the intersection of the two.

But enough about me. I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out with any questions. We’d love to Bloom with you.
